My first 3D animation using Maya.

This is an animation that I dis for the final of the Classical Animation class. It is a four second animation with 96 frames and two backgrounds. This is my fist animation by hand, so is not that bad, but I think I will live all this to my brother, he is better at this things :)

This is the final video for Motion in After Effects!! I'm so proud of myself :D the music is from the soundtrack of Paths Labyrinth, and the scream is From the Nazguls in Lord of the Rings.

I've just finish this video... I must say is not my best one but I had fun doing it, it is kind of a private joke between the people in my class so I hope when they watch it tomorrow they will laugh :D

The Raid : Redemption
One of the best action movies I´ve seen so far, the action is amazing and some of the shots on it are just mind blowing, although if you don't have a good stomach for blood, don't watch it :)

Motion 3

I´m starting to love to do this motions! the challenge here was to work with masks also in After Effects, and for those who don't know what I used the masks on, watch the leaves that flight in the background, those are made with masks :P

This is a design I did in the first term when I was just starting using Illustrator. The assignment was to do a self portrait using just type, and I most say it really was a challenge for me to do this. I´m happy with the result, although I´ve heard some critics that I don´t really look like that, but I still think is good.

Little Book

How to be Happy.... and not die trying

Hahaha this was a really funny project. We needed to do a little book to show "how to..." whatever we wanted, so I decided to teach how to be happy :D at least for a little while. I think everyone has experience this happy moment at least once in their lives and I thought it was cool to remember people how easy it is to smile. And btw, the front page (the pink page) is supposed to show the title of the book in shape of a happy face, apparently lots of my classmates didn´t get it until I explain it to them :P Thanks to Kuler for the colors.

Wes Wilson Typography

This is a homework I did for the wonderful David Leith and his typography. We had to make a research about an specific typeface from a certain period of time, so I choose the Psychedelic Era and the Wes Wilson type. In my research I found all the posters and designs that he did with this type in the sixties and seventies and I just fell in love with the colors and the lack of blank spaces on the designs. So at the end of the term we needed to hand a poster based on the research that we did, and this is it :)

I love The Beatles and they are a big inspiration for me in everything I do, so I thought I could show my love and appreciation for them doing this animation of their song.

How to prepare the best coffee ever!

Ingredients:

• Water
• Evaporated milk
• Coffee
• Regular cup

Preparation:
     Fill three quarters of the cup with water, and the other quarter with evaporated milk. Heat the cup in the microwave for 1.5 minutes. Add half a spoon of coffee and two of sugar. Mix it all together and enjoy it before going to school or work.

Motion 1

This is my first motion animation!! I used After Effects for the first time, and I must say that it turn out to be really cool if we consider that I have never work with After Effects before and my relationship with computers isn´t great.... I´m really proud of myself :)
